Introduction to University

Shaanxi University of Science and Technology was established in 1958 as the Beijing Institute of Light Industry, marking it as the first institution of higher education specializing in light industry in the People's Republic of China. In 1978, it was designated by the State Council as one of the nation's 88 key universities, underscoring its strategic importance in China’s higher education development. The university has actively advanced international academic exchange and collaboration through a range of institutional partnerships and joint programs. Notably, it has established Shaanxi University of Science and Technology Alster College as a formal cooperative institution, and launched the Joint Doctoral Program in Designology with the Kyiv National University of Arts and Design. To support internationalization, the university hosts 14 national-level platforms and initiatives, including the National Base for Innovation-driven Introduction and Intercultural Exchange, the China Scholarship Council’s International Cooperation Programs for Innovative Talent Cultivation, projects supporting talent development for international organizations, rural revitalization, the Western Region Initiative, and the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Young International Scientist Program, as well as programs funded by the China International Exchange Association. Additionally, it maintains nine provincial-level international cooperation platforms, such as the Shaanxi Provincial “Belt and Road” Joint Laboratory and the Shaanxi Provincial Base for Innovation-driven Introduction and Intercultural Exchange. These platforms have facilitated the aggregation of young scholars from countries along the “Belt and Road,” contributing to the development of a distinctive and structured system for cultivating globally competent talent.

本科生申请资格

1.持外国普通护照的非中国籍公民，符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》相关规定。

2.身心健康，对华友好，无违法犯罪记录。

3.具有全日制高中毕业或以上学历，具备大学申请资格。

4.参加由中国教育部国家留学基金管理委员会组织的“来华留学本科入学学业水平测试”（China Scholastic Competency Assessment, 以下简称“CSCA测试”），并获得测试成绩。

5.具有能胜任本科阶段学习的汉语能力：申请人文社科类专业的申请人汉语水平须达到HSK四级200分（含）以上；申请理工类专业的申请人汉语水平须达到HSK四级210分（含）以上。如申请人的母语为汉语，可申请免交语言能力证明；如申请人的前置/在读学历的授课语言为汉语，提交相应的学习证明，可申请免交语言能力证明。

6.马来西亚独中高中统考(UEC)成绩申请

理工类、文商类:华文、英语、数学(或高等数学)及其他两门课程，5科总成绩不超过25点(含)。其他类型考试成绩申请sTPM、A-level等其他类型的文凭考试成绩，申请条件参照UEC对应的成绩。

7.对于本人出生即具有外国国籍且出生时父母双方或一方为中国公民，或原为中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾居民、后移民国外并获得外国国籍的申请人，须符合中国教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件的要求，并按照学校的招生要求提供相关证明材料。申请人是否同时具有外国国籍和中华人民共和国国籍，以中国公安机关相关管理部门的国籍认定结论为准。
