Introduction to University
NENU is one of the national key universities under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education’s "211 Project" and "985 Project Innovation Platform for Dominant Disciplines". In 2017, NENU has been selected as one of the "Double First-Class" universities.
The university comprises 21 schools, covering 12 disciplinary categories, with 82 undergraduate majors. There are 24 doctoral programs of the first-level disciplines, 37 master’s programs of the first-level disciplines, 1 doctoral program of professional degrees, and 21 master’s programs of professional degrees.There are 24 post-doctoral research stations.
NENU has six national "Double First-Class" disciplines, including Marxism, Education, World History, Chemistry, Statistics, and Materials Science and Engineering, ranking 19th nationally. NENU also has five national key disciplines in ideological and political education, principles of education, world history, cell biology, and ecology. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation by the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, six disciplines were rated as Class A (including one A+), and 15 as Class B.
A comprehensive scholarship system for international students, including the Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, Ministry of Commerce Scholarship, and Northeast Normal University President Scholarship for Outstanding International Students.

成绩要求：
1. UEC： 相关科目五科成绩≦25点，UEC相关5科成绩在26—35点需增加预科学习。
2. STPM：CGPA2.7以上，2.0-2.7需要增加预科学习。
3. SPM：须进行一年预科学习。
语言水平证明：
1. UEC: 免除提交HSK成绩单
2. STPM: HSK5级成绩单或进行半年预科学习。
3. SPM: HSK5级成绩单，且须进行一年预科学习并通过预科考试。
预科入学条件：
UEC、STPM、A-level成绩未达到本科条件的，及参加SPM、O-level等考试的毕业生，可以申请我校预科课程。预科阶段学习成绩符合要求者，可直接升入我校本科。
（1）春季预科（学制半年）
成绩要求：UEC相关5科成绩在26—35点，或SPM相关成绩不低于C。
（2）秋季预科（学制1年，每年9月至次年7月）
UEC相关5科成绩在36—40点，或SPM相关成绩不低于D。

1）中国政府奖学金（Type A）
根据中国与有关国家政府和机构等签订的合作与交流协议或达成的共识提供的奖学金。申请类别：本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生、普通进修生和高级进修生。
受理部门：所在国有关派遣部门。
申请时间：以受理部门通知为准，一般为12月\~4月。
资助内容：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
2）中国政府奖学金“高水平研究生”项目（Type B）
中国政府奖学金“高水平研究生”项目按照“个人申请、院校推荐、专家评审、择优录取”的原则，选拔录取具有优秀学科背景、突出专业能力及未来发展潜力的国际学生。具备招生资格的中国政府奖学金院校均可推荐人选，最终录取以专家评审结果为准。
申请类别：硕士研究生、博士研究生。
受理部门：东北师范大学。
申请时间：以学校具体通知为准，一般为11月\~2月。
资助内容：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
3）国际中文教师奖学金
为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心设立国际中文教师奖学金，聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。
申请类别：汉语言进修（一学期/一学年）、汉语国际教育专业本科生、国际中文教育专业硕士研究生。
受理部门：东北师范大学。
申请时间：3月1日\~5月10日。
资助内容：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
4）东北师范大学优秀国际学生校长奖学金
为鼓励国际学生勤奋学习、积极向上、提高学校声誉，吸引更多国际学生到校学习，我校设立了优秀国际学生校长奖学金。
申请类别：本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生。
受理部门：东北师范大学。
申请时间：1月\~6月，7月前公布评审结果。
资助内容：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。
