Achievements：

As one of the national key universities directly subordinate to the Ministry of Education of China and jointly established with Jiangsu Province, Southeast University is also listed as one of the universities involved in National “985 Project” and “211 Project”. In 2017, SEU was ranked on the list of constructing “Class A first-rate world universities”. 11 disciplines have been listed as national “double first-class” construction disciplines and 5 disciplines obtain A+ in the fourth round of disciplinary assessment, both ranked at No. 8 at the national level. 13disciplines are ranked top 1% of ESI internationally, in which, engineering is listed at No. 17(top 1 ‱) with computer science at No. 9(top 1‰).

SEU is a comprehensive research-oriented university featuring engineering discipline while covering many other disciplines including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, medicine, management and art, etc.

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, have graduated from high school, and be over the age of 18, under the age of 25.
2. All the mentioned certificates can be used for application：Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)  , STPM, A-level, Diploma
3. Language Proficiency Certificate:
   - Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 or above certificate is required for students whose instruction language for the highest degree is not Chinese.
   - English-taught programs: IELTS (6.0 or above) or TOEFL (80 or above) certificate is required.

Applicants for a master's degree must have acquired their bachelor degrees, and should not be older than 40.

Applicants for a PhD degree must have acquired their master degrees, and should not be older than 50.
