Achievements：

ECUST has 2 national experimental teaching demonstration centers, 2 national virtual simulation experimental teaching centers, and 4 Shanghai experimental teaching demonstration centers. There are 3 national virtual teaching and research rooms and 5 national engineering practice education centers.ECUST  has 4 national key laboratories, 2 State key laboratories, 1 National Technology Innovation Center, 3 National Engineering (technology) research centers, 1 Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education, 2 basic science centers of the Foundation Committee, 39 provincial and ministerial key scientific research bases, and 5 provincial and ministerial humanities and social science think tanks (bases). Approved 10 "111 Plan" subject innovation and intellectual introduction bases of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the first batch of innovative practice bases of high-level international talents training by the Ministry of Education. It has established the International Institute of Engineering Excellence, a Sino-French cooperative school, the world's first Confucius Institute for Science and Technology Innovation in the UK, and the first China-Romania China-Europe International Business School at East China University of Science and Technology Sibiu. The Feringa Joint Research Centre for Nobel Prize-winning Scientists and the Oliver Hart Centre for Contracts and Governance were established.

Features：

Chemical Engineering and Technology is the first major approved by ABET in Chinese mainland, and Chemistry is the first major approved by Sino-Russian Joint International Science Certification. All the majors of the Business School have passed the accreditation of AACSB. 19 majors, including Chemical Engineering and Technology, have passed the accreditation of Engineering Education. Ten disciplines, including Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Biology and Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science and Ecology, Clinical Medicine, General Theory of Social Sciences, have entered the world's top 1% of ESI, and Chemistry and Engineering have entered the world's top 1‰.

Language Proficiency Certificate

• Chinese-taught Programs: minimum request of HSK4 （a score of 210 or above for business/liberal/arts programs and a score of 190 or above for Engineering/Science programs）. Those who are taught in Chinese in high school can provide the school certificate for exemption from HSK scores
• English-taught Programs: minimum request of IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 70, or provide school proof of English-taught programs during previous study. Native English speakers do not need to submit the English Proficiency Certificate
