Achievements：

Since the founding of the PRC, the university has been one of the national key construction universities in successive batches. In 1996, the university entered the " 211 Project" key construction ranks, and in 2008, the university was approved to build the "985 Innovation Platform for Advantageous Disciplines", and in 2017, the university was selected as one of the national " Double First-class" --World First Class University and First Class Academic Discipline Construction University.

Undergraduate Program

 

1. Chinese Government Scholarship (A Prize, Chinese-taught only)

Apply for Chinese government scholarship through the Chinese embassy or consulate in the country where the applicant is located. Embassies and consulates generally accept applications from November to April of the following year. Please check in advance.

When filling in the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form", you need to fill in "East China University of Science and Technology" as the first choice in the "Applying Institutions" column. The school code is 10251.

 

2. Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship (B Prize)

Scholarship students are exempted from paying tuition during the normal academic period, and comprehensive medical insurance for international students is provided, and other expenses are borne by themselves.

3. Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship (1+4 Program, Chinese-taught only)

One year of preparatory study (full scholarship), free of tuition during the normal academic system, comprehensive medical insurance for international students, provision of accommodation, monthly living expenses; four-year undergraduate study (B award), exemption of tuition during the normal academic system, provided Comprehensive medical insurance for international students.

4. Dean Scholarship of International Education College

After registering at ECUST, a scholarship of 5,000 yuan will be issued in November of first year only.
